Terms of Service

In the event of any conflict between the Thai and English versions, the Thai version shall prevail.

Welcome to Vobz. By accessing or using our app and services, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

1. User eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract in order to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your account and your phone number secure.

2. Account and identity verification

Sign-up uses your phone number and an OTP code. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information. Do not impersonate others or create fake accounts.

You may choose to enable Passkey (passwordless sign-in based on the FIDO2 / WebAuthn standard) as an additional way to sign in on your device. Signing in with an OTP always remains available. You are responsible for the security of your device and of the unlock method (such as fingerprint/face/PIN) tied to the Passkey, and should remove the Passkey from any device you no longer have in your possession.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, spam or harm other users
• Send illegal content, obscene content involving minors, violent content, or content that incites hatred
• Publish content that infringes the intellectual property of others
• Use bots, scrape data (scraping), or attempt to access our systems without authorization
• Use other people's location information to stalk or harass them
• Publish another person's private or sexual images or videos without their consent (revenge porn)
• Disclose another person's sexual orientation, HIV status, or health information without their permission (outing)
• Engage in or solicit prostitution, human trafficking, or advertise either

Profile photos must not contain nudity or sexual content, even where the same content is permitted in private chat between consenting users.

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

If you believe your account was suspended in error, you can submit an appeal in the app immediately from the suspended-account screen (one appeal per suspension). Our team reviews it and notifies you of the outcome in the app.

4. Inappropriate content, reporting and blocking (zero-tolerance policy)

Vobz has a zero-tolerance policy toward inappropriate content and abusive behavior. By using the service, you agree not to post or send content that is inappropriate, obscene, harassing or illegal.

• You can Report inappropriate content or users, and Block other users, from within the app
• We will review reports and remove violating content and suspend/ban the users responsible, normally within 24 hours
• We may use both automated systems and review by our team to filter inappropriate content

This is in line with the requirements of the App Store / Google Play for apps that contain content from users (user-generated content)

5. User content and intellectual property

You remain the owner of the content you create, but you grant us the right to store, process and transmit that content to the extent necessary to provide the service. You are responsible for the content you publish.

Copyright infringement notices: If you believe that content on the service infringes your intellectual property, please notify us at support@vobz.app with details identifying the content and your rights. We will review it and remove it as appropriate.

6. Premium membership and payment

• Vobz Premium is a subscription service (monthly/yearly) at the prices shown in the app
• Subscribing and payment are handled through In-App Purchase on the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google), inside the app only
• The subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the subscription settings of your Apple ID / Google Play, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are subject to the policy of the channel you paid through (Apple / Google) and applicable law
• If your account is suspended or deleted for violating these terms, we will not refund any Premium fees already paid, including any unused portion, unless applicable law requires a refund.

7. Privacy features

Features such as Stealth mode and disappearing media are intended for privacy, but we cannot guarantee that a recipient will not take a screenshot or keep a copy by other means. Please use your judgment when sharing.

8. Ending the service

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings (การตั้งค่า) → Delete Account) or by requesting deletion by email. The account has a 30-day recovery period before it is permanently deleted — see the steps on the Account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate the service to you if you violate these terms or in order to comply with the law.

9. Risks of meeting and interacting with other users

Vobz is only a platform that connects users to each other. We do not run criminal background checks, do not check sex offender registries, and do not verify the identity in depth of each user. You acknowledge and accept that:

• Interacting, chatting and meeting up with other users (both online and in real life) is entirely at your own risk
• We are not responsible for the behavior, statements, content, fraud or any damage caused by other users or third parties
• Please be careful, do not disclose sensitive information, and meet in public places

If a dispute arises between you and another user, you agree that we have no obligation to become involved, and you release us from any claims relating to that dispute.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, and we do not warrant the accuracy of information created by users.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our related parties (directors, employees, partners, service providers) will not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive or special damages, including loss of data, revenue, reputation or business opportunities, whether arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the service.

In all cases, our total aggregate liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event or 3,000 THB, whichever is higher.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and defend us and our related parties against claims, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your use of the service, (b) your breach of these terms, (c) your violation of the rights of others, or (d) content you publish.

13. Third-party services and links

The service may contain links to, or connect with, third-party services (such as stores, payment providers and advertising) that are outside our control. We are not responsible for the content, policies or actions of those third parties.

14. Force majeure

We are not liable for any delay or inability to provide the service arising from causes beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, power or internet outages, cyberattacks, or the acts of external service providers.

15. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between you and us will be resolved by individual arbitration at the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC), under the THAC rules in force at the time the dispute is submitted. Seat of arbitration: Bangkok, Thailand. A single arbitrator.

You have the right to opt out of this arbitration agreement by notifying support@vobz.app within 30 days of accepting these terms — if you opt out, disputes go to the Thai courts of competent jurisdiction instead.

If you are a resident of the United States, the following additional terms apply: you and Vobz waive the right to a jury trial and the right to bring a class action for any dispute relating to these terms.

16. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use the service after a change means that you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of Thailand. This does not affect the mandatory rights you have as a consumer in the country where you live.

18. General provisions

• Severability: If any provision is void or unenforceable, the other provisions remain in full effect.
• Entire agreement: These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us.
• No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right on one occasion is not a waiver of that right.
• Assignment: We may assign our rights and obligations under these terms. You may not assign yours without our consent.
